Our journey began when Ms. Chocolatier herself — a proud mother — decided to follow her lifelong love of baking and confections. At the age of 48, after a career serving her community with the police department, she made the bold decision to attend culinary school at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. As a non-traditional student, she proved that it’s never too late to chase your passion and master your craft.
After graduating, she returned home with a mission: to create handcrafted confections that brought joy to others. Soon after, her son joined her in the kitchen, learning each recipe by hand, guided by her expertise and care. What started as a mother’s dream became a family tradition — and Ms Chocolatier was born.
Today, we continue to craft every batch of toffees, brittles, cookies, and seasonal treats with the same love and attention to detail that started it all. Our business is built on the simple belief that the best sweets come from the heart — made in small batches, using quality ingredients, and shared with our community.
